Welcome!

Lynzkatz Cattery is located in Central Pennsylvania and we’ve been breeding and showing American Shorthairs since 1987. Since 2014 we’ve also been breeding Scottish Folds. We breed for temperament, as well as health, and our kittens are healthy, happy and affectionate.

They are raised in a family setting, underfoot with children and noise, and lots of playtime. Strangers do not exist for them! We are committed to breeding beautiful, healthy, well-socialized kittens who can win in the show hall or simply become cherished family pets.

Lynzkatz has been designated a CFA Tier V Superior Cattery of Distinction and we’re proud to say that our cattery has produced 17 National Winners (including CFA’s 2017-2018 Best Cat of the Year in Premiership,) 16 Distinguished Merit Cats (including CFA’s 1st American Shorthair Red Tabby DM) and over 150 Grand Champion and Grand Premiers.

We are longtime members of the American Shorthair Breed Council, Scottish Fold Breed Council and the National American Shorthair Club and show exclusively in the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA.)

In 2016 Lynzkatz Cattery was recognized as the Best American Shorthair Breeder of the Year.
